This was our first full length performance of a Shakespearean play - a staged reading series of Twelfth Night.
We wanted to make it clear that live theatre in a virtual world can be more than a staged reading. To drive this point home, we took on the visual metaphor of "grayscale avatars"—devoid of the color of motion. This production was a lot easier than our past series in that no specific era was set, and realism wasn't necessarily required. Some outfits looked like caricatures.
Outfit components are packaged for sale in the SL Globe Theatre Gift Shop.
